Community Newsletter & Communication

Architectural Processing
The sole purpose of the following Architectural and Landscaping Standards are to maintain the architectural character of Alta Vista South, to keep the community attractive to all residents, and to protect yours and the other homeowner’s investment. Per the Association governing documents, owners have the ability to make certain modifications to their units. In order to do so, they must first submit an architectural application to the Architectural Review Committee for approval. If you are considering any modifications please download, print and complete the application below and return it to South Coast Property Management. 

Architectural Guidelines and the Application are available via the Members Portal area of the website. 

The Board of Directors per the CC&R's and community needs have formed various standing and Ad Hoc committees to assist them with community issues. If you are interested in serving on a committee contact Tritz Professional Management Services. Current committees are:

Report A Street Light Problem
Street Lights are the responsibility of Southern California Edison. If you have a problem with a street light near your home, you can call them at 800-611-1911 or click here to report it through their website. You will need to know the pole number prior to do so.

City of Placentia
Placentia City Council Meetings are held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 pm. The meetings take place in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 401 East Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870. Special meetings may also be held at other times at the request of the mayor, or majority of the council members. 

The Planning Commission meets once monthly on the 2nd Tuesday. Meetings also take place in the Council Chambers at City Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.
